Your PTO Dollars At Work

Did you know that before school started, your donations were already hard at work? With your support, before students even came back, we were able to:

  • Provide the teachers with a welcome back breakfast
  • Stock the staff lounge, and
  • Landscape and mulch all of the garden beds (Nope, AACPS doesn't pay for this)

All of these things happen because of you and your support!

Halloween Parade and Parties

The WFES Halloween Costume Parade will be held on Friday, October 31st, at 1:15 pm. As long as there is no inclement weather, families are invited to be spectators along the parade route. If the weather prohibits the parade from being outside, spectators will not be permitted.

Be on the lookout for communication from Room Parents about Halloween Parties! Any classroom sign-ups will be uploaded into the Sign Up Hub! Classroom Halloween Parties will also be on October 31st, following the parade. Due to capacity limits, only Room Parents who are helping with the party are able to be in the classroom during the event.

And the Winners Are...

At a school-wide assembly on October 10, four lucky students from each grade will be selected to help turn Mr. Kling into a Human Sundae.

Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive

Our annual Harvest for the Hungry food campaign will run October 1-31.

  • Non-perishable food and monetary donations will go directly to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.
  • At Windsor Farm, we are striving to be one of the highlighted schools for donating a top amount of food/ donations.
  • Collection boxes are located around the school.
  • We will be holding a Spirit Week during the week of October 13th to promote the food drive - stay tuned!
