Important Dates
Sneak-a-Peek: August 20, 2026 (3:00 - 4:30 p.m.)
- August 24, 2026: Grade 1-5
- August 24-26: Staggered Pre-K/K (Pre-K/K students will report only one of these days)
- August 31: All Students (everyone in the Pre-K and K classes will report)
Back to School Night: September 3, 2026 (6:00 -7:30 p.m.)
Parent-Teacher Conferences:
- Pre-K/K: August 24-25
- Fall Conferences - All Grades: November 23-24
- Pre-K/K Spring Conferences: May TBD
Holiday Breaks:
- November 23-27: Thanksgiving Break
- December 24–January 1: Winter Break
- March 26-April 5: Spring Break

Before and After School Care
Before and After School programs at Windsor Farm are provided by the Y of Central Maryland. Please visit their website for more information.

Before School Care: Starts at 7:00 a.m.
After School Care: Available until 6:00 p.m.
Transportation
Bus Routes:
- Detailed bus route information can be found here.
- To receive information and updates regarding specific bus routes, you will need to subscribe to those communications specifically. This option will be available when the bus routes are posted in August.
- Any issues with bus routes or transportation concerns should be directed to the Broadneck Area Transportation Specialist, Laura (Beth) Dudeck (410-923-7873)
The Car Line - Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
- Drop-off begins at 7:40 a.m. for car riders. Students are dropped off on the upper loop. Teachers and Staff are available to assist students exiting the vehicle. If students are not in the building by 8:00 AM an adult will need to come into the office to sign them in.
- Pick-up starts at 2:25 p.m. Please follow the designated traffic pattern to the lower loop.
Windsor Farm Elementary has walkers who cross the street at the intersection by the entrance of the school. If you are transporting your child to/from school, please keep an eye out for these families.
Meals and Nutrition Information
Lunch Hours:
- Kindergarten: 10:05-10:35 a.m.
- 1st Grade: 10:35-11:05 a.m.
- Pre-K & 2nd Grade: 11:05-11:35 a.m.
- 5th Grade: 11:45 a.m.-12:15 pm.
- 4th Grade: 12:15-12:45 p.m.
- 3rd Grade: 12:45-1:15 p.m.

Lunch - $.00 - Monthly menus and more information can be found on the Food & Nutrition Services page.
- Payments can be made online through MyPaymentsPlus or by sending money with your child.
You may add funds to your child’s account by sending a check (made payable to Windsor Farm Cafeteria) or cash into school or online at https://www.aacps.org/page/purchasing-school-meals.
Families who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals must apply annually at https://www.aacps.org/page/apply-for-free-or-reduced-price-meals.
Parent Involvement
PTO:
- The PTO works to support our school through programs and activities both during and after school hours. Sign up for our communications to stay updated on PTO events and volunteer opportunities.

Prior to volunteering:
- You must complete a background check, and
- Watch the AACPS video on Sexual Harassment and Child Abuse (Spanish), and
